贾平岗，陕西宝鸡人，于2006年7月在中国矿业大学获得应用物理学学士学位。2006开始在重庆大学光学工程专业攻读硕士学位。2008年开始，以硕博连读方式攻读仪器科学与技术专业博士学位。迄今，作为主要研究人员参加了高等学校创新工程重大培育基金项目一项，重庆市自然科学重点项目一项，国家重大科研仪器设备研制专项一项。发表了论文4篇，其中境外SCI收录的期刊论文2篇（其中一篇已接收）。主要研究领域包括光纤传感技术和激光振动测量技术。

Ping-gang Jia was born in Shaanxi, China. He received the B.E. degree in applied physics from China University of Mining and Technology, Xuzhou, China, in 2006. He is currently working towards the Ph.D. degree in instrument science and technology at Chongqing University, Chongqing, China. His current research interests include fiber optic sensors and laser-based vibration measurements.
